I recently got back into cigar smoking. The 2 best that I have found for myself are:

Padron 2000 - Very well priced and always rated on of the best cigars out there.

Monticristo White #3 - 7 or 8 dollars a cigar when you buy them single, but i love them. Very mild and easy to smoke.

King Edwards and White Owls but I never smoked. The smell just brings back good memories of my grandfather who did. I have a liquor cabinet that was passed down to me after my grandparents passed and "oh Boy" does it reek of cigar smell. I guess the initial smoked smell is much easier on the senses than 40 years or so of engrained smoke smell in the wood

i could bear with the taste of the cigar smoke when I tried a cigar in the past but I could never get comfortable with that dick shaped tobacco stick in my mouth

That was a great cigar, it is slowly moving to one of my fav's.
it was a Rocky Patel Vintage 1992, box pressed.
10-12 year aged wrapper tobaccos used. def a great smooth smoke.
lately I have been in LOVE with CAO Black Ltd. it is a slightly stronger cigar than I usually smoke, and a little too expensive for a daily smoke, but it is great.
and 2 weeks ago i smoke my all time fav, Monticristo White Label. it is their mild level cigar, and for me it is just perfect, but it is also 8 dollars per cigar. my 2nd favorite Padron 2000 is only like 3.50 and is a VERY close second, so i smoke them way more often

I was rummaging through my cigars earlier and found a Punch Royal Coronation that I forgot I had. Not a bad smoke overall, although at one point it tasted faintly the way dirty diapers smell. I let it burn down for a couple minutes, and it was back to normal. I'll probably pick one up again if I get a good deal.
I wish I could give a better review, but I'm nowhere near being a connoisseur.

Super, did you ever get around to trying those acid's ? I've tried a few, got some for my friends to try as well. The concincus was not glowing. Smelled better than they tasted. The boys have a good mythology, but it seems they spend the time on the wraper . The tobacco seems under par.
I tried the blonde's a couple times. Then a tried a different one, the oil was thick on my lips and very sweet, but again the tobacco reminded me of a swisher,,,,,that's awful to say,I know.

I don't know if I have any one favorite. When in Mexico I buy Cohibas and Montecristos, here I favor Dominican and I think my last was a Fuente.

Partagas No. 1 have been my favs for a bit. Macanudo Crystal Cafe take second place, especially since I have a box worth sitting in my humidor right now. Been trying a lot of different cigars out lately, so these could change...

For everyday smoking I have been buying the Oliva Series G maduro churchill. Not the series O which is for women and girly men.It has a nice full bodied taste and is way too inexpensive to justify the flavor and smoothness.
I was at the store the other day and picked up a 5 pack of small Acid cigars. It was only like $4 so I figure what the hell, I'll give em a try.
They smell/taste like someone spilled cheap cologne on them.. WTF?
They almost reminded me of smoking:

I'll stick to Macanudo, Punch, or Romeo Y Julietta.

The first Acid I had, I liked (Kuba Kuba). The smell was atrocious, like some kind of hippy perfume. The sweetened cap seemed like it was sweetened with stevia. But something about it tasted good, and the construction was very nice. I then tried a Kuba Kuba Maduro, and that was just as good. I went a while without having any, then tried a couple more. Not so good. I tried an Acid "Toast" and that was heinous. I think I am done with the Acid line. I have been enjoying the Drew Estate Tabak Especials occasionally; same stevia cap but no perfume, just chocolate and coffee infusion. The Toro Negra was my favorite. I got a ten pack of the cafe con leches (torpedo), and they are ok. They have a double wrapper, which is interesting. I really want to try one of the Drew Estate Liga Privadas or Undercrown. They aren't infused, just excellent cigars from what I've read.
As far as real cigars, I had a Rocky Patel Edge Battalion Corojo (6x60) the other day and that was fantastic. It's a robust smoke, and Rocky Patel says they are for professionals only. I'm not a professional, but they are fantastic. I'm eyeing a box of those. The other one I've really enjoyed lately is the CAO Italia line. I really like a lot of the CAO's, but it seems like every other one is plugged. But I have had good luck with the Italias, and the flavor is unique. Strong, but unique.

Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Champagne is by far the best cigar I've ever smoked. They are tied for first in my book with Romeo Y Julieta Habanas.
I can never pass up a Cohiba, Macanudo, Romeo y Julieta, La Gloria Cubana. My regular smokes are Iguana Candelas and Thompson Tuskers by VSOP.

Smoking a Tatuaje Havana VI Noble right now. Despite being plugged (which I remedied with a pilot bit drilled through the whole cigar), and despite a harsh start, this cigar has turned into something fantastic.
