Best/Worst SNL Character/Actor

My favorite bit was Norm MacDonald hosting Weekend Update. His constant Frank Stallone jokes were great!

Favorite actor is Will Ferrel, this guy is always the sceen stealer.

I'm watching SNL rerun on Comedy Central right now and they have The Church Lady on, I think this was the worst recurring character.

I also never liked Dana Carvy except when he played Garth.

Best character I liked was Linda Richman, the lady Jewish COFFEE TALK host after Paul Baldwin developed shpilkus in his ganectagazoink and retired to Boca Raton FL....
The worst characters are a tie, both played by Rob Schneider: Sensitive Naked Man, and Orgasm Guy...neither were funny, just used for shock value.

I liked carvey!! I thought he'd have more of a career after SNL than he did. He did a good Bush.

When people talk about SNL's glory days they go for the early years but I think some of the late 80s/early 90s were just as good if not better than the first seasons. and one of the men I'd like to thank for that is PHIL HARTMAN.

the worst snl actor was anyone on that show after 1976, once the coke stopped, it was all down hill from there...except for the great chris farley, he will always rule!

I know that my favorite skits would be the Roxbury guys...it was freaking hilarious to see Jack Nicolson look like he was having spasms that one time he was on with them, and my other fave was when Will Ferrell would play Harry Carey...Now the worst of all time has to be "Lothar of the Hill people".

Phil Hartman was a favorite of mine. I always crack up at his "Caveman Lawyer" sketch. "Your words frighten and confuse me."

Worst character for me was Goat Boy. I'm sorry, I couldn't take it. Breuer is a funny guy, but even he couldn't make the bit work.
