<div>It seems like a lot of threads have been getting locked lately. Anyone else notice this? I was just about to post in 2 threads  and they were both locked.</div><div>Why is this happening? Dammit!  Quit stealing my one good bit.        That I stole.  Snacks, the threads were locked because their focus ended up being attacking and even threatening other board members.  It's the general board policy to close threads that are turning into rampant flame wars.

I guess thats why some people go on vacation?How long of a cruise will this vacation be for?

Because the threads in question were considered to be against RonFez.Net rules by the RonFez.Net staff.  If you believe the thread was locked in error, please PM the moderator who locked it and they will respond to you, and that individual may unlock the thread at their discression or put it to vote by the staff.  If you are not happy with that moderator's decision, you have the option of contacting an admin so that it may be put to discussion by the RonFez.Net staff. Any decisions voted on by the staff are final, regardless of who posts it in the staff room.

Some Ive noticed are locked due to duplicate thread topics...before you try to start a fight with a mod- which i wouldnt suggest in the first place- check to see if there is another thread with the same topic.

PS this is not governed by US constitution..Mods and admins can lock anything they think is innapropriate for the site.It is there responsibility to moderate (hence MOD- duh) what is good for visitors of the site.  Im all for free speach and think nothing should be restricted, however there are consequences..look at ESD's latest actions on the show pointing out to Ronnie.Bottom line is since we are all technically "nameless" because we use handles we feel no responsibility for what we say.. notice peoples profiles are always minimal info...so who accepts resposibility?... The site and the mods...not fair on their part.We are all pretty brave when we hide behind board names.Please dont ruin it for all of us.

Alot of them were duplicate threads or ancient threads that got bumped by someone.

I know for a FACT that I saw all the mods doing bumps of Cha' De Bugre in the breakroom last night. I think they are just a litte on edge still.

Oh then that's what happened right there.  When you do that stuff, you can actually hear people's thoughts through the computer.  So they read the minds of posters, knew their actual intentions and locked threads accordingly. Good job!
