View Full Version : McGahee to Baltimore

CBS Sportsline is reporting that the Baltimore Ravens have added RB Willis McGahee for 3 draft picks.

Link here.

This greatly adds to Baltimore's offense and can't be good for the rest of the AFC.

I dont think its that great for baltimore.

They have lost their starting FB and Guard from last season the defense has lost some key pieces McNair has no arm and Billick is the most overrated coach in the NFL.

They have done nothing that makes me think they are better then NE, SD, or IND

Yes, cause their offense was just SO impressive in that game against the colts. I am sure one player will turn around that whopping 6 points they scored.

1 player plus the NFL not being fixed to have the colts win the superbowl could help them a lot.
Willis McGahee was taken several picks before Larry Johnson. And McGahee was hurt at the time. Buffalo hasn't been to the playoffs in how long?

Don't you think it's a little too convenient that Peyton won the Superbowl without playing any better in the playoffs than past years? How many more fake moustache commericals can he do now that's he a superbowl MVP?

He's coming off a subpar statistical year when the bills offense, while still terrible, improved slightly. Compare McGahee's statistical production last year to the improved stats of Losman and Evans. I think he ended up with something really terrible for yards/carry.

The Bills are going to invest in rebuilding their line and hoping they can either sign or draft a good enough back to fill McGahee's role.

Willis to the Ravens helps the JETS. Getting him out of the division is huge but might catch up with them in the playoffs.

Bama agreed with me, too. Don't you think it's a little too convenient that Peyton won the Superbowl without playing any better in the playoffs than past years? How many more fake moustache commericals can he do now that's he a superbowl MVP?
Well let me tell you: I am a redskins fan who lives in Indy and am not a colts fan so i have no stake in this one way or another

However, Peyton played a great game in the Superbowl, the bears played an extremly deep 2 man zone that was basically daring Peyton to throw downfield so that could pick him off with a wet rain soaked ball so Peyton did what he is supposed to do which was check off and hit the short reciever which is why J. Addai had so many catches.

Also what did his past performances have to do with anything in this years playoffs, whats past is prologue and has no bearing on the current year. He had a bad game against the Ravens who also played a two deep zone and had one of the best defenses ever but so did a lot of QB's against that team.

And you still havent pointed out how or when specific occurences of the NFL fixing the game. You cant fix something if the other team isnt in on it and watching those games none of those teams played like they were quitting
