<p>is it just me or does anyone else agree that we are too overprotective and is this generation is&nbsp;a bunch of spoiled brats?</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I read this article and they did a study about teens jobs and working conditions/hours/ jobs performed etc. The study seems to think these jobs and hours worked etc are a bad thing for. Why? when i turned 16 i was working at toys r us and i worked any hour i could.&nbsp; i never said no.&nbsp; i wanted the cash.&nbsp; kids today, ahh.

<p>at 15 i worked at the fruit stand for 2.25 an hour and for some lithuanian couple(out of there house)&nbsp;cutting articles out of newspapers and magazines</p><p>the parents need to make sure there's a fair balance between working and getting schoolwork done and the well-being of their kids. they should know what the child is doing in work and make sensible judgments</p>
