I know there are others out there, but damn if I can find them.

I usually like a simple peperoni with thin crust. The peperoni MUST be on top of the cheese. I hate it when they put it under the cheese. I sometimes get in the mood for gourmet pizza, though. We have one at work called the Baked Tuscany. It has alfredo sauce, chicken, ham, and shrimp. Absolutely delicious!!!

What are your pizza preferences?

I like ham and pineapple. I also prefer pizza with provalone cheese instead of mozzarella.

It depends on the place. Two places I go have outstanding plain pizza. Another place makes a great bacon, onion and peppers pie. And then there is the place I used to work at that had great baked ziti pizza, ravioli pizza, and chicken parm pizza.

Actually in the city on i believe its on 16th and 6th ave just north of gray's pappaya there is a corner pizza spot on the west side of the street called "ray's". yeah yeah it has a common name but their plain slice is pretty mean. what they do is leave a metal tray in the oven so the slice becomes extremely crispy. nice

eggplant slices rock

When in Spring Lake, be sure to check out the Tomato Pie. It's as bad as the name suggests!

I don't know if this place is still open but I used to like going to a place called Andrew's on Burke Ave. in the Bronx. They used to serve these huge slices that were pretty cheap and good, too.

The only thing I require is a thin, crisp crust. I may come across as blasphemous, but a limp, soggy, oily, greasy slice that seems to define a "true" pie just turns my stomach.

Topping: mushrooms are an absolute must.
