Couture completely dominated sylvia, knocked him down within the first few seconds of the fight went the full distance but Sylvia did nothing at all. Couture won 50-45 on all 3 judges cards.

no problem. It was amazing how much couture dominated him...i guess its true Slyvia has a crappy jaw that couture was able to drop him on basically the first punch of the fight. Just so weird that couture dominated the stand up it was like Couture during the 1st Liddell fight where his standup was perfect, but im sure this fight will now lead to Randy V. Iceman again.

It was unbelievable to watch. Couture owned Sylvia pure and simple and between the shock, the dominance of Couture, and the crowd unanimously behind the guy, it may end up being the fight of the year.

It's such a surreal thing that this guy made this huge a comeback you'd almost swear it was a wrestling storyline (although, it's actually good, which would prevent it from being a wrestling storyline).

Congratulations, Randy Couture...now go get destroyed by Mirko Cro Cop.

It was a really good PPV overall...I'd recommend it for anyone curious about the replay, although, the replay won't be quite as good without the shock value of Couture owning Sylvia.

Best fight card UFC has had in a while and it showed. Nothing is better than watching Sylvia lose. By te way, the lose of the fight should have to fight Cro-Cop.

I hope Randy doesn't get too comfy with that belt though. I think it's unjust that a 43 year old man is going to have his head kicked off after one of the better upsets in the history of MMA.

In lighter news, you know Cro Cop was in a movie?

He is one of the best of all time, but at his age I'm afraid he may get hurt against the likes of Mirko.

And there's no doubt in my mind Cro-Cop would hae destroyed Sylvia.

That was easily one of the best UFC ppv's i have ever seen. I thought every fight except the hughes fight was really exciting. The couture fight was such an amazing moment with him standing up with sylvia and making him look like the retarded bitch he is. I agree that they will build up the cro-cop matchup a bit before the fight since cro-cop has only had one fight in UFC they'll build the hype. Its too bad cro-cop will destroy couture at this point of their careers.

If he wins and wins decisively, I think he gets Couture's first title defense.

You've got Couture...a guy who just pulled off a real life Rocky-esque story and calls himself Captain America vs. this enormous Croatian former anti-terrorism agent.

Easily the biggest draw UFC has right now.

I think Couture exposed Silvia, and if he get CroCop to the ground, I think he has a good chance against him, too.

Other random PPV observations: Joe Rogan has got to lay off the HGH. His head is getting huge. Seriously, he's got that protruding jaw thing going.

Rich Franklin's nose is pretty funny too, after the way Silva mashed it. I like Franklin, but after the Silva fight, his nose was over by his ear.

I can't take anymore Matt Hughes. He's such a fucking hillbilly, and his fight was very poorly ref'ed. He probably would have won anyway, but all he did for 3 rounds was lay on the guy, and barely improved his position. At some point you gotta stand them back up.

<>The Babalu fight was awesome, too. Great comeback.

And, did I hear right that Diego Sanchez is fighting Josh Koshcheck (sp?) in the next PPV? That's an AWESOME fight, and I think Sanchez is a future champ, but either guy could win that fight. Joe Stevenson v Melvin Gaullard is a great fight, too.

Has anyone been catching this Bodog shit on "Ion TV"? What the fuck is Ion? I followed the "Ion" link from Bodog, and it is dead. I'd love to see the St Petersburg fights headlined by Emelionenko. My wife and I just went to the local fights last month. Dave Terrel's school is near here and it was very well represented, as was Cung Le's.
