What the Hell???

I woke up very early Friday morning.....4am???...with bad chest pains.....I drove myself to Stonybrook Hospital....I was admitted emmediatly...I was diagnosed with a possible MI...what the fuck is that....either your pregnant or you're not......I stayed til this morning and asked the doctor what my diagnosis was...he told me my enzymes were normal and theat my EKG and sonogram were good.....I asked him why I had chest pains.....he shrugged his shoulders and told me to wait til monday......I said "bite me" and here I am feeling better.....I know that I am an RN....but alot of times doctors don't know shit....I should know....I worked with them.....that's why I left the field.....they scare the shit out of me with their incompetance!!!!

BTW...MI is an micardial infarction.....but I would have had other sypmtoms!!! They just don't listen.....when I went to nursing school....I was taught to listen very carefully to my patients....they will tell you things to look for....And you must chart all that the patient says....if you ever notice......a nurse will spend 20 minutes with you assessing you and writing everything down....a Doctor spends 3 minutes with you and sends you a bill!!!

My mom about 9months ago went through the same shit...she was admtitted got me all out of sorts and it turned out to be stress but they kept her for 4 days for nothing. F those doctors...sometimes they dont know and i wish they would tell you that.
