Just curious..... have all 50 states been represented in TV shows? Meaning... where a show is based. The town can be fictional, but a real State. Shows can be old or new. No reality shows (because COPS has been in all states I think) Of course, New York and California have been well represented, but what about the other 48? Let's see... (off the top of my head)

1. Law & Order(s) - New York

2. Sopranos - New Jersey

3.
I am in Salt Lake City, UT as I type this. That being said - I have yet to see a polygamist or an Osmond. I feel cheated.

Also, every bar in UT is considered a private social club and you have to be sponsored for membership before you can drink there. Weird but true. I drank at the hotel bar because since I was staying at the hotel, I could be sponsored. I still had to fill out a form at the bar before the waitress would bring me a beer.

When I was in the Air Force and stationed in North Dakota, I read a newspaper editorial complaining that a TV show had never been set in the state. That was in 1992, I don't know if it's happened since.

The closest it comes is that some of the scenes throughout the X-Files run were set in some of the Delaware cities.
