Excuse the graphic detail.

2 weeks ago i had a pimple on my toe that i popped, and now I have a sore on my toe the size of a dime, that's almost a hole in my toe. My foot and leg have swollen up to the point that my shoe is too tight, and the top of my foot is bruising. It leaks yellowish pus but won't scab over, and i get a strange numbing tingle in 3 of my toes, should I see a doctor? Here are pics of my sickly, fat, bruised foot.

I always feel like when I go to the emergency room Im wasting their time to see more important patients and i should just wait to see my physician, Ive been working on it for 2 weeks, and I do real physical work.

I would see a doctor asap. They will most likely give you an antibiotic to clear it up. Are you a diabetic?

I'm no doctor, but maybe this will help:

http://www.healthscout.com/ency/68/718/main.html

I didnt know about diabetes making it hard for the body to fight infection, but I do heal fairly slow. I had a toe infection last year that I needed to have drained and a piece cut out to send to the lab, all from a stupid hangnail.

You seem to have a really long middle toe.

...but listen to the people who seem to know what they're talking about.

Not only is it long but i has an indentation in it so the toe on the right of it can fit into it, because it curves to the left, I thought i was just deformed but everyone on my mom's side has the same thing going. Where does Dr. Steve post ? ronandfezshow.net? Site's down.

From internet searches, Ive pretty much got it narrowed down to a staph infection, so I guess Ill wait until my physician's office opens on monday and get some antibiotics, thanks for the help and concern.
