I wouldn't mind the fat harvesting part where I'm frying up pounds of bacon at a time, but making it into a fucking soap is too much work for me. Plus smelling bacon all day would drive me insane. When I smell it, I want to eat it. If I just smelled it all day I'd have to drive to pig farms with a torch to satisfy my urges.</p><p>Plus, I have plenty of the stuff in my arteries, I dont need it on my skin too.</p>

<p>I'm sure some other people on this board had Grandma's from the "Old Country" (pick one) It was pretty common to make your own soap from rendered fat and lye. My Nana did on occasion. </p><p>It was even coming back a few years ago, I remember buying a soap making kit for my sister in law, who got into making fancy soaps with different scents and shapes. Pretty sure she didn't use bacon, though. </p>
