My wife is a CNA at an elderly home. She was taking care of an elderly woman a few nights ago, along with a coworker who happens to be black. The elderly woman (not wearing her glasses at the time) looks at the black lady and says "wow, you've got a beautiful tan, been out in the sun a lot lately"? My wife then helps her put her glasses on, when she looks at her again and says " Oh you're a nigger ". She passed away this morning at the age of 101.

As long as we're sharing inappropriate racist stories:

I'm watching the Superbowl with my dad and my nine-year-old son. My son says: "Grandpa, who are you rooting for? Chicago or Indianapolis?" My dad considers it for a while and then blurts out "There's too many Puerto Ricans living in Chicago."

The comment seems to go over my son's head. I give my dad a stare down and a look that says "Shut up. Don't say another word."

My dad then goes: "What? I didn't say anything wrong. All I said was that there are too many Puerto Ricans in Chicago."

I never thought I lived in a racist family until I went back home to visit my grandparents last summer.

My grandmother asks me "Are there a lot of black people in Florida"

Me "No more than here, more mexicans though"

Grandma "Oh, are they nice"

Me "ummm, sure grandma"

And later that day

Grandma "I saw a mountain lion in the backyard last week"

Me "Are you sure? What color was it?"

Grandma "It was dark, so it looked black to me"

Grandpa "Black? What the fuck was it, a jigaboo cat?"

Me "Ok, i gotta get going here"

One last story I just remembered

Grandma: Do you get a local news station in Florida? (She never leaves the house, doesn't even have a driver's license btw)

Me: Umm, yeah a few

Grandma: That's nice, so you can keep up with things going on in CT

Me: Not YOUR local news

Can't believe my grandmother never got her license, and I just found out a few years ago, that her daughter (My aunt) never got hers as well, and she's 40ish, with 3 kids... Im such a hick fuck. As for the toe, i just got my hands on some vicodin, so Ill see how I feel tomorrow.
