I haven't really looked into it, I'm lazy, and I figured it'd be easier to ask.

Is there a way to save stuff I recorded from my Helix to my hard drive?

You're not supposed to be able to get the things you record from XM off. If there is some way it will probably involve hacking into your Helix. Let me know if you figure it out.

Well I have the Inno and anyone is VERY limited in what they can do when inside of Napster. I use my Napster daily to erase commercials from 202 recordings and to move other songs around to different playlists.

As far as I know Napster is amazingly limited. You can't even sort songs when you are inside of a created playlist. And I have never found the ability to be able to move any files outside of the actual player.

This is one of the reasons XM took so long to get this player to the market. Pressure was put on them to make sure they could not take recorded content and put it on the web. What the hell is the reason there is no built in FM transmitter too?

Some law or regulation about transmitters came about. I think that feaure now only works with the car dock. Mine still works with the home dock.

I usually don't read the specifics when I update stuff, but this time I did and I'm glad I didn't update. The drawback is that nothing else will update for me. I don't care, though. It records and plays.

If you don't mind recording in real time, just run a line from the "line out" to your computer's "line in" and record it that way. I do it all the time with my Myfi and Nexxus.
