Partially because it's a great song, but partially because it was a big fuck you to the label for forcing music video down their throats:

Replacements - Bastards of Young

I saw the title of this post and immediately thought "Just" by Radiohead.

Then I saw Mikeyboy's suggestion and thought about the Replacement's "The Ledge".

Then I saw Burrben's White Stripes stuff and thought about "The Hardest Button to Button".

Now I'm confused and kinda woozy.....

The only thing that would make it more pretentious would be Axl swimming with dolphins (which didn't happen until the next "Use Your Illusion" video.)

It's a brilliant video that actually means something (like the video noted by MikeyBoy). I wish more artists used the medium of music video's for this purpose.

Metallica's ONE already mentioned. Johnny Cash's HURT cover already mentioned as well.

I'll throw in AC-DC's YOU SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT LONG. Something about chicks in vinyl bikinis, with zippers on the bottoms, riding exercise bikes, that summed up the song. You just have to overlook Brian Johnson in the washtub with that fucked hat.

U2's "Lemon" video is good, love the feet on the face, but Metallica's "One" is still tops in my book

I spent years trying to find a decent copy of Cibo Matto's "Sugar Water" video in the pre-YouTube days.
