has anyone noticed that internet movie data base (IMDB.com) has changed the look if the site? It must have happened over the weekend, but it is bad. I just dont like it, very hard to read some of the information. Its like it all blends together.

As far as I know, it's looked like that for a while. I agree that it's not as good as the old layout. I also hate how many pop ups it tries to hit me with. They get blocked, but I still don't like it.

Looking at it again, even though it did change several months ago, it did change again very recently. I can't say it's any worse or better, but I still hate the adds that pop out from behind things. I don't mean normal pop ups, but the ones that float around for the first few seconds, then go away.

love the new look. love the thumbs of the actors (great when trying to locate someone and you're not sure the name of their bit character). have no problems with pop-ups.

I think it's better. I don't see the big deal.

I really don't like the new layout. And it was released late last week/this weekend.

When we talk about new look were talking the overall look, feel and access of the site not hte added pictures or adding the dates of an upcoming show but the overall layout. Its almost like how yahoo has fucked up the tv section on yahoo and maps. They fucked up both.

It has changed again. I noticed about a week or so ago the new layout which is awful. Then it changed back to the old layout and now its back again to the new one. Somethings are nice like the section that says the films cost and gross $ amount. But the layout is all over the place.

youre right it seems like every single site is using the same website designer. cbssportsline, imdb, myspace, etc they all seem the same now a days.

From Twitter...

All hail @edcopeland (http://twitter.com/edcopeland), who told me "Go to your IMDb account, hit site preferences, select old design." Much better.
Edit: Actually, you have to select "Show previous title and name page design (reference view):"

FYI... You do have to register to do the above fix, but it's not a big deal. And if you do, after check the option I mentioned, go a few spaces down and also check the box to opt out of emails. Then they won't be bothering you with shit.
