Do you keep your message board life quiet? Are you reluctant to tell other people of your posting, for concern that co-workers or friends will "find out" about you? Have you ever had difficulty explaining to people that you are a board member?

well, regina is all for it. My parents do not really understand. my friends dont really understand it and a few dont know or learned the hard way, like Mike did on Friday night after we sang Eternal Flame together. he was like "why is everyone cheering for you?" "i'll tell you later." at least he didnt run out of the place like Horsepants' gumara.

I keep Ramrod under tight wraps. I think he's on a 'need to know' basis, if I were to loosely throw out his existence then I could be persecuted unrelentlesly for his opinions.

His posts might be held against me in the 'real world', therefore I find it best to just share my board life with my chick and my bro.

My girlfriend loves this message board stuff. She likes to pop on and see what I've been posting. My friends think its weird, especially when I went to the DC bar night. I don't really bring up the things I do on the internet to my family.

Everyone I know knows I post here and on Wackbag. I mean my parents don't give 2 shits but I've mentioned a few things about "The messageboards associated with the radio shows I like" and that's about it. My bandmates know about it but just aren't fans of either show. Them my pal Grim Sanity I met through this board.

Most of the people I know in the Metal scene know me as Death Metal Moe so if they know of the boards they know of me.

That's about it.

Telling friends and family about how I met my husband through a talk radio show in nyc and that we met on a fan-based message board about the talk show, always looks great.

With some people I find it awkward to start a conversation about a topic I saw on here. Like, if I say "I saw this discussion on this message board I am on.." and then they start asking questions about the board...

Obviously Sarah knows about the board, outside of that it's like everything else in my life, if it comes up I'll talk about it, if not I don't go out of my way to mention it, but I don't hide anything in my life.
