British guys at my bar made me do this.

Get a show of Zambuca....put it in a wine glass, set it on fire, blow it out, drink it down like you would a shot, THEN quickly turn the glass upside down over a straw and breath in the fumes through it.

I did one....and it fucked me up a bit.

Apparently in England the law only allows you to do 2 of those at a pub.

Yesterday was fun. Went to the movies and saw Sweeny Todd and then came home did shots of Lucid Absinthe and watched a fire in my fireplace.


I think it was the most alert drunk I've ever been. Everything was heightened. Quite enjoyable after you got the awful taste out of your mouth.
