In a pan with oil and so on and so forth? Coz I was thinkng that if you saved up all the unpopped kernels in the bottom of the micro bag you could pop 'em in a pan after you got a pile of 'em. I mean, why not?

I don't think many of the unpopped ones would pop. Some kernels are just bad. I've done it the old fashion way, and I don't really like it. It always tastes too oily to me. I do like the old fashion way when it's done in one of the big movie/bar type poppers, though.

the best are the 1/2 popped pieces. I remember someone brought Ron in a jar of 1/2 pops, but I have never seen them sold anywhere.

You can pop regular popcorn in the microwave - just stick the kernels in a
paperbag. No need for oil or anything. Works great.
