news flash, man identified as mexican is accused of stealing.  there is something you never hear about in the news. joe rogan is going pro with the youtube gig. i would think fear factor pays better.i never watched mind of mencia or caught his live act so i cannot coment on his delivery, but enough comics have claimed he is a notorious thief that it is hard to question.

Rogan is a pretty average comic, but at least he's not blatantly ripping guys off.  And he was on Newsradio, so that gives him a TON of leeway in my book.  Mencia has never done anything even close to being funny.  Rogan wins my heart.Mencia being a joke thief is apparently pretty common knowledge.  Him, Dennis Leary, Dane Cook and Robin Williams are probably the biggest names I've heard most commonly tossed out as famous joke thieves.  I mean, of course there's gonna be a lot of overlap in material, but those guys are the ones I hear the most as straight up ripping off other comics' jokes and routines almost verbatim.

Between the two of them I would be more likely to pay to see Rogan, but I wouldn't jump at the opportunity to see either one of them.  At least Rogan doesn't ruin everything he's in.  We watched the Farce of the Penguins last night and fucking Mencia's part ruined it for me. What did O&A say about? Has R&F commented.  I remember Fez saying that he would put Mencia on the worst comic list.  I personally thought Rogan was really good on O&A last time I heard him.I wonder if he would be so confrontational if he couldn't kick everyones asses.

I told her what happened on Saturday night with the whole Carlos thing, and she told me that she would try to work it out. She called me back today to give me a spot tonight at 10pm, and said that Carlos and I would just have to avoid each other around the store. She asked me what times I wanted to go on stage this weekend, and I said as long as I got on before Carlos I didn’t care. I said thank you, and hung up. Then I get a call from Tommy the manager of the club an hour later. He told me that “they” had decided I needed to “take a break” from the store, and that Carlos was physically threatened by me, and worried about me being around. That, and they’re upset at me for putting the video up on the internet because they had asked me to stop filming my internet reality show “the JoeShow” at the club. They also said that Carlos apologized for the weekend, and said that they could advertise that he would be performing there this weekend. Now, I know this isn’t coming from Mitzi, because I had just talked to her an hour before, so I’m assuming it’s her sons that have made the decision to have Carlos there and keep me out. Mitzi’s health hasn’t been well over the last years, and slowly her sons have assumed the role of taking over the club. Whether the decision is financial, because they can sell a ton of tickets with Carlos, or whether it’s personal, because Pauly and I have never really liked each other, either way, it is what it is. It’s also indicative of this massive problem we have in the comedy community in general. Here you have a club that basically sells other people’s art. They put the chairs there, sell the drinks and turn the mic on, and the artists do the rest. You have a situation where a comic that’s been known for stealing other people material gets called out onstage, exposed, and then the video is put on the internet for all to see, and their reaction is to ban the guy that exposed him and made the video. To the thief, they sit back quietly and profit from his crime. It’s truly fucking mind blowing. There’s not another art form in the world where the creative rights of the artist get as little respect. If they banned the both of us for this incident, then I would understand that they're just trying to avoid conflict, but the fact that they have told me to "take a break" but they have him onstage this weekend is just a tremendous slap in the face to me, and to the art of stand up comedy. The first thing I did when I got the call, is to phone my friend Rita over at the Improv in Hollywood and ask if I could get on there this weekend. She bent over backwards to accommodate me, and gave me spots for Thursday night at 10, Friday at 8:30, and Saturday at 10. To her, and Joel over there, I say thank you very much. Maybe that why I never heard of these comedians stealing jokes before all this. If these 4 are notorious for stealing its kind of funny that all 4 are some of the biggest names in comedy and now actors. Yet the guys they are "stealing" from seem to be all lesser named or just outright nobodies.Rogan mentioned that when you do steal/borrow a joke or whatever that you credit the comedian it came from. My question is how? After the punchline do you say" oh that was a Joe Rogan Joke, Thanks" and then go on?It is funny that a lot of members have talked about bullies and how they hated them growing up or how they felt being bullied or whatever. Seems to me that Joe Rogan is a little bit of a Bully. Yet no one has mentioned that and seems people dont mind a bully when its someone they like or side with? That being said the video is great!!!

Wow. I just saw that video. Insane.  Rogan is the righteous one in this, and other comics should have a pair of balls and stand up for whats right.  Joe is right when he was talking to Bobi Lee that by not speaking up he is condoning this shit.  I hope O&A have him on on Monday, cuz this is kinda blowing up.Mencia got pWned like a bitch.When they had this talk on O&A i was actually a little takin back by how silent everybody was (jimmy included).  When they went after that cat at the comdey store about the Michael Richards nigger thing they were rabid dogs.  But on this crusade Rogan is on, so many, too many are silent.I would love to hear Ron's take on this, he was in the biz.  I am sure this has happened since the beginning of comedy but it is so blatant now.  I guess its just wait an see now. Anyone know what night this actually took place?
