Ultimate road rage.

My girlfriend and I were driving from Jersey City to South Brunswick yesterday afternoon. Took the NJ turnpike. When we got off the turnpike we had to make the merge onto rt. 18 and then right after onto rt. 1 south. Road was pretty packed and no one was moving for anyone so I decide to start driving around everyone to get where I need to be. I cut a few people off and push my way into the exit for 1 south. As I do so a guy appears behind me (no idea where he came from) and starts honking. Maybe he was trying to exit as well at the same time as me. He wont get off his horn and gets real close to me. He then pulls into the lane next to me and starts to speed around me, never ending his horn. This pisses me off so I flip him off as he drives by. He jumps in front of me and slams on his brakes, stopping all exit ramp traffic. Then he jumps out of his car and starts coming after me. At this point everyone is pissed at everyone, traffic on 18 is slowed down and the exit is stopped completely, everyone behind me is honking now. As soon as dude jumps out of car he is yelling and waving his fist. There's just enough room to pull out and go around him, I almost hit the guy as I did but didn't care at that point, crazy man coming after me, rather hit him and deal with the cops later instead of sitting there, he was also coming to my girlfriend's side of the car, not mine. We drive down the ramp to route 1 and I am looking in my rear view to see if he's chasing me. I guess it took him a while to get back in his car because no one is coming down the ramp. I get off at the first parking lot on the highway and cruise around there for a while to make sure he isn't chasing after us to kill me.

Exciting.

Dude was some old white guy, looked to be in his 60s.

I'll never understand why people feel the need to fight constantly.
