That was a rough time in my life. I love you big wheels!

But this thing doesnt really impress me. On that page you see the yellow hovercraft? I had a rich friend who owned that thing. It really wasnt anything special. You really cant ride it on land very long, cause it will rip, then you take it out on the water and the waves slow you down and get you soaked, it takes you about 2 miles to make a turn, it just really wasnt as special as it seemed. Yeah it was cool as hell, but the fun didnt out weigh the negatives.

I'm going to wait for the anti gravity skate boots.

At the point where they started putting the water guns on the big wheels I was already to big for them. You couldnt even do the scooter style of riding them (by taking the seat back off, stand on it with one foot, and push with the other foot) because you would step on it and it would just fold in half. Then you have to try to shut your little brother up because you just ruined his big wheels, even after time after time your father tells you not to use your brothers big wheels and he gives you a good old fashion beating, when all you wanted to do was get back all the fun times you had on a big wheels, and.....

oh I didnt realise I was still typing. Proceed with the topic...

Looks cool, but read the fine print.

. The hovering scooter deftly glides over level, solid ground such as concrete, asphalt, or well-groomed grass, free of debris, sand, stones, and other obstacles. It can even travel up minor inclines

That was my first question with such a small amount of clearence under the thing. And if there's ANYTHING on the ground, you're stuck. Move it off manually and start over again. Only works on completely level ground with nothing on it. Which really isn't realistic.

Plus the part about minor inclines means that if you're in upper Manhattan, Westchester, Northern NJ or any other hilly area its also useless.

and

the hovering scooter is powered by a four-stroke internal combustion engine that operates for approximately one hour on a full tank of unleaded gasoline.

I was also hoping it used the principles of the Segway, which it seems to do somewhat. But that small engine you're not getting far.
