Right now, we have a cat named
Otis. He is the sweetest, most
loving cat I have ever owned.
His devotion to me, according
to Thunderlips, is "unnatural
and unhealthy." He is the
greatest cat!

I also had a cat named Angus,
who just happens to be the
spitting image of Otis. This
cat was *smart.* One morning,
after neglecting the litter
box one day too many, I awoke
to the sound of plastic being
scraped across the floor. Sure
enough, Angus was pushing the
litter box into my bedroom! I
was this cat's puppet!

Miss Fuzzybutt,

I have a Beagle named Annie. I've had beagles most of my adult life-best damn dogs in the world and Annie is the bestest beagle little girlie. She just loves me to death and lives for the moment I walk through the door after work. It doesn't matter what time of day or night it is, she just waits for to open the door and then jumps into my arms and licks my face all over. At least someone loves me in this life.

i have a tie. I have 2 cats. The boy is Marcelli (i pronounce it ma-thelli, long story). He's this fat, loveable orange cat. The female cat is skittles (her nickname is Doodle). She's this adorable, tiny, white, grey, brown and black kitty). The cats mean more to me than anything. i think i like my cats more than i like most people. when i come home from work, they both run down the driveway to greet me, and they both cuddle with me at night. and i have conversations with them all the time.

I have a tie, too. My kitty
Beezer (yes, he's named
after John Vanbiesbrouck,
the best goalie ever and the
only NHLer ever to have all
the vowels in his
name!)(www.geocities.com/
Aya_K_Alt/beezer.html) is
the best cat in the entire
world - he does NOTHING
bad, is super affectionate,
talks to you and doesn't
take crap from anyone. Of
course now he lives with my
mom (because of Stella)
and he has gotten beyond
fat. I barely recognize him
anymore. But still, he
meows to me when I visit
him every weekend!

The other pet is Stella, my
fluffy dog
(www.geocities.com/Aya_K
_Alt/stella.html) - the one
who I am having all the
housemate issues with.
She is smart (she learns so
fast!) and too affectionate -
she suffers such severe
separation anxiety! But I'm
sure I she would protect me
however she could so I
always feel better whenever
she's around. She snores,
she leaves hair everywhere,
she seems to vomit more
than most dogs, and she
can not learn that cats are
not allowed to be chased,
but she still means more
than anything to me!

Oh yeah, actually there's
also my pet dove (Darren,
after Darren Turcotte, ex NY
Ranger) who I've had for
over ten years and who
STILL coos at me all the
time, and Dribbles, my
red-eared slider who I've
had for nearly twenty years
now, who splashes water at
me whenever I go near his
tank - they rule, too!

I have a dog named Screech, he's half German Sheppard, half Rottweiler. I used to own his mother and she had puppies and he was the runt of the litter and was very ill. He needed medication for a month or so.

We gave away the mother and the rest of the puppies and kept him.

At the moment I have 6 cats and 2 dogs and in the past I've had a slew of other pets,so its kind of hard to pick a favorite but im going to pick my Snootchie, baby, kitty girl sonic. One of my best friends, Adam gave her to me for my brithday, she has a collapsed lung that sealed its self shut when she was a baby so she sounds asthmatic but shes my lil sweetheart and she's all mine, plus she like cheez doodles!

I have a one-year-old black cat named Cleo. I treat her like a little princess and she scratches the shit out of me & my family. PanterA says she doesn't respect me because I spoil her. I should never have kids because they'll probably beat me and I'll have to go on Sally.

I had a black lab named Eggplant from 1986 - 1990. She died suddenly at age 4. That sucked so much. Now I have a Golden Retriever/Chow mix named Barclay. He isn't that great of a dog. We had a cool rabbit named Stew for 10 years, but he died this morning.

My dog, Spanky. He's a smooth-haired fox terrier.

And he's the meanest little dog I've ever seen. He's insane; he'll take on any other dog, no matter how big. He's a tough little SOB, which is why I love him.

I have a cat named Patches and she is a small Calico, very small for her size. People confuse her for a kitten and she has a small little problem. She sneezes a lot!! I mean sneezes with like snot hanging off her face. I feel like a parent having to clean her face off...asides from that flaw, she is a cute little thing who jumps onto my shoulder and just hangs out like a little bird or something. And is always trying to smell what is in mouth and the likes...I like the cat, she is cute

I have a 6 yr old St. Bernard/Lab mix named Teddi. She is absolutely adorable. She grunts and talks to me all the time. She plays come get me and my slobbered up ball when we play catch outside. She is a superdog because all of her commands are voice and also sign language. She's one of a kind. It's so true how animals know your emotions, whenever I'm sad she snuggles up with me and licks my face dry with her St. Bernard slobber tongue. She is my soulmate. :)

I used to have 2 dogs. 1 Chewy 1/2 akita 1/2 german sheperd. and then there is Nico 100% maltese love that lil fuker he's the jewel of the family. everyone pays more atention to him then to their own damnselves. He's the baby of the fmaily kiking me out of the spot. Chewy is no longer with us, he was getting a bit too wild and cramped up for the place that I lived in so... now he is a canadian farm dog. I visit him as much as I can. everytime I go to spin in toronto I drive hour out of my way just to go visit him. hes happy as hell. big space to run around in and yeha... then I get all sad and stuff when I leave. but oh well

F1Gm3nT, those are such cute dogs!

most beloved pet? the only pet i only had was a beagle. my father rescued her from her abusive owner who was about to take her to a really shitty shelter.

we had to put her to sleep because she got a dislocated disk. the vet told us an operation wouldn't do much help and that she would still feel some pain in her spine.

putting her to sleep was the toughest decision i ever had to make. i was in the room when they put her to sleep, and so was my father. that was probably the first time i had ever seen my father cry.

her name was lady. she was the best. i miss her.

p.s. tazz, i'm terribly sorry about your rabbit. if you want, you can have little oolong.

Irish, I had a hamster named
Gilbert. He ruled. He used to
fall asleep in my hand. One
time he got loose. I could
hear him in the walls. I
didn't think he'd ever come
back until one night, as I was
watching TV, I could see
something stirring from the
corner of my eye. It was
Gilbert! He was all covered in
plaster. I picked him up and
got him his water bottle. I
put him back in his tank and
watched him cram his cheeks
with food. I put the lid back
on the tank and he started to
jump around and chitter. He
wanted to go back into the
wall! The little *F*er just
wanted provisions!!

You rule-- I have witnessed
far too many "Lord of the
Flies" scenes in pet stores!
Hope Willie has a
long and happy life with his
Dad!!!!
