Does anyone know how to save pictures when a site doesnt allow you to? I was on a site and wanted to save a picture, I right clicked and wasnt allowed to save it. A window poped up and said "image copy not permitted" Is there anyway around this?

Disable javascript while you're at the site, or look at the source of the page and get the links from there.

You can hit the print screen key on your keyboard, open an image editor (even microsoft paint) and paste it in. You'll need to crop out the rest of the screen, but it could be easier than playing with your javascript settings.

Just so you know maybe this will help. I haave windows xp, I use ie7 and this site used to let you save pictures but about a year ago you couldnt right click any longer and save them.</p><p> </p>

the quickest way to disable scripting is to double click the globe at the bottom of the browser window where it says "Internet". This will open the Security Properties dialog. Click on "Restricted Sites", then click the "Sites" button, and "Add". That will disable scripting. Press OK until you're back at the website and save your pictures. When you're done, return to the Security Properties and Remove the site from Restricted list.

<p>The absolute easiest way:</p><p>Right click the image. </p><p>When the pop-up comes up, hit enter. <strong>Do not release the mouse button </strong></p><p>Now release the mouse button</p><p>The menu should pop-up, allowing you to save the image. </p>

I'll try that next time.</p><p>I used to do the Print Screen thing then crop my picture out in Photoshop. But if that trick works it'll make it 10 times faster.</p>

Hit print screen, crop it in a program, which should take all of a few seconds, and you'll be set. </p>

<p>On IE6, I just held my mouse over the picture on a right click protected site and some buttons came up on the top left of the pic and I could just click the little floppy disc icon to save.</p><p>For firefox, view source, find the picture and put that url into the broswer.</p><p>OF course with firefox, you can always turn off javascript or get an extension that will do it. Off the top of my head, DownThemAll will suck down all the elements on a given page with a mouse click.</p>

That works great and is easy. But what do you do when you click on the image to enlarge the image and it open in another smaller window, when you right click then enter on those windows they close, how do you save those pictures?</p>
