Saw this on SNL last night, Seth Meyers and Amy Poehler talking about Michael Vick's weed arrest in Miami - funny segment...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjtVnqZCndo

It was funny as shit. I still can't believe SNL hasn't gotten so good this year. I think Lorne Michaels sold his soul to the devil.

I can't understand why people think SNL isn't good anymore.

I thought the MacGruber skit was a pure display of the hillarity the show has been giving out on a weekly basis since the days of Will Ferrel and Jimmy Fallon. It may even surpass those days and be comparable to the days of Myers, Sandler and Farley.

No?

i've never been a huge snl fan (but have seen the past two weeks, which had some truly funny moments). what i find amazing is that since the beginning 've heard nothing but "snl was good till x left and sucks now that y is there" then a few years will go by and it's "snl was good till y left and sucks now that z is there" and, repeat...

SNL has had some great moments this season, but what really hurts the show is the opening bit. For a couple of years now it seems Darrel Hammond opens every show with a political news program or speech. It's very tired and they last way too long. The opening is supposed to be topical, isn't their anything else going on in the world?

I thought the sketch with Common and Samberg as the white rapper "Blizz" was great.

The show has been so bad the last few years I just tape it and watch it Sunday morning, fast forwarding through the bad parts. But I have to admit, last night's show had some good moments like the "Really!?!" segment.

And though I agree the opening bits have been horrendous, last night's taking apart Hillary was amusing. Who thought THAT would ever happen on SNL?

You tape SNL and watch it on Sunday? Really?! Still sticking with the VCR thing? Not interested in TIVO? Not a big fan of modern technology? Really?! ...Just kidding, SNL has gotten freaking funny again. I watched it for the first time in a while last night and actually laughed...hmm.

But then why do we still say "dial" the phone?

Anyway, I'm going to listen to my 8 track now...
