Barney Miller star dead

<p><strong><font face="courier new,courier" size="2">I remember one episode where he was filling in for an absent detective and he was wearing his blues instead of a suit. As he was getting ready to take a report from from a robbery victim he introduced himself and said &quot;Excuse the way I'm dressed.&quot; The victim looked at Levitt in his badge and uniform like he was out of his mind.</font></strong></p><p><strong><font face="Courier New" size="2">That was one of my favorite shows back in the day.</font></strong></p>

I liked the guy, but when Levitt became a detective, Barney Miller jumped the shark.

I have&nbsp;fond memories of watching Barney Miller, it was&nbsp;a great funny show, not to mention&nbsp;a&nbsp;great Cast. I was sad to hear of his passing, he was a funny dude on the show.
