Recently I went back and sort of classified the girls I've been involved with, and I sort of came to the disturbing conclusion that they only fit into two types. First, there's what I like to call the "nurturers" - just incredibly sweet and selfless women. I think this is who I've always been the happiest with. And I've come back to realize that ideally, this is who I'll end up with. It's almost exclusively who I'm smitten with now. Second, there are the "drama queens." I've gotten more away from this of late, although it still holds some sort of appeal. And this has definitely aroused more intense feelings. I think I really like feeling like I'm a knight on shining armor on some level, and trying to provide stability for volatile women. Although I've since seen how depressed that volatility can make me after awhile.The girl I've fallen most in love with was an almost perfect mix of both.

Quirky is the best i can come up with... Girls that think outside the so called 'norm'. Comic book, movie, alternative music type chicks. That mixed with a splash of drama queen makes life really interesting IMO.

I've always liked the bad boy type, but I've been moving away from that group.  I've found I've always enjoyed being around guys who I can make laugh, coz that usually makes me pretty happy.  Oh, and honest dudes.  Definately have to be honest.

I used to really love hippie dudes...not the ones that don't shower and squirt patchouli all over themselves....but long haired dudes. Always ended up with guys who could play guitar too. Never planned - just happened. Then I met my hubby...a conservative republican metal head. Really short hair - totally NOT my type. This year - we'll be married for 10 years. If you're not having luck with "your type" - go opposite!

I have been attracted to the quiet crazy type. The ones who drink and get crazy. Threaten to kill them selves when you say your leaving. Block doorways and call cops on you. Try and attack you in the middle of your job. Slap you in crowded parking lot cause someone calls you and that person has a vagina. All the hot things Ron loves. My current woman is not crazy but that might be why it is workin.

I think i'd like a 80% nurturer and 20% drama queen.  I've dated a few nurturers and by 6 months I hate them.   My brother when i was young never said a nice word to me, constantly calling me fat ass (even though i was never fat, but i understand the annoerexia thing because i always felt fat), retard, idiot.... and because of that I never feel comfortable when people say nice things to me.   I don't feel comfortable saying i love you to my mom, maybe my grandma.  It just eats at me.   I like drama for a like a week and then can't stand it.   I think i'm with you Narc trying to find some mix is essential.
