I've decided to watch American Idol this season.&nbsp; Honestly, that is nothing any of you should care about.&nbsp; I'm doing it as an experiment.&nbsp; I've never watched a full episode of the show, and what I have seen has generally been the stuff in the early stages with bad singers getting abused.&nbsp; Everything about the show just seems godawful to me, so I've never felt the need to watch.&nbsp; People love it, though.&nbsp; I understand that even a really cheesy reality show can suck you in if done well.&nbsp; So here's my experiment.&nbsp; I will watch the show, and give it a minimum of 8 episodes.&nbsp; If at all possible, I'll watch the whole season.&nbsp; I want to see if something that from the outside looks like it will hold absolutely no interest for me sucks me in like it seems to for every other person in this country.&nbsp; If I do end up getting sucked in, will it be one of those things where I acknowledge that it's awful but I can't look away, or will I end up legitimately enjoying the show?&nbsp;

I think its hilarious but its annoying how 90% of the time they are editing it to be more funny. Alot of the show feels like some Christopher Guest movie. They should just show more legitimate rejections and less of the &quot;bits&quot; theyve been setting up. The fat kid with the lisp and the bug-eyed taco bell dog guy seemed like definite actors.
