Winamp should be able to open the file. If you want to convert it you can go to the winamp preferences, look under "Output" and choose NullSoft Disk Writer instead of DirectSound. It will save the file as mp3 instead of playing it.

Remeber to go back in and select DirectSound when you're done.

If you are using a PC and have MS media player... you should be able to right click on the file>Open with> and use Media player and be srtaight... if you can't then Fuck it.... it's not worth it.

"I have used them as audio in my shockwave development for a few years now. Shockwave actually calls them .swa, but a .swa is just an mp3 with an additional header and a .swa can be played through the normal mp3 players. "

Have you tried renaming the file and loading it into something like media player? If that doesn't work, try getting a Shockwave decompiler or convertor to get it into mp3 or wav format
