Return the cremated remains of their 4-year-old son.</em></p><p><em>&quot;Just drop it off somewhere with a note on it,&quot; Steven Greene said. &quot;And that'll be that.&quot; </em></p><p><em>It worked. </em></p><p><em>Someone left the urn containing the ashes of 4-year-old Zachary Greene at the end of the Greenes' driveway Wednesday morning, two days after it was taken in a burglary. </em></p><p><em>Police said a burglar broke into the home, snacked on Cheerios and tracked mud all over the house as he filled pillowcases with about $10,000 worth of valuables -- and Zachary's ashes. </em></p><p><em>Zachary died of cancer in 2005. His parents kept the urn above their fireplace next to a Play Doh fire truck Zachary made before he died. </em></p><em></em><p>Your heart just sinks when you hear about this kind of shit. Thankfully they got the ashes back.</p>

<p>not only does my Aunt and Uncle leave in the same town, they have their sons ashes, he died of a brain tumor in '99, in the house also.&nbsp; </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>this is the kind of shit that makes me wonder about humans. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>I'd assume he didn't take it knowing the contents. The fact that he was civil enough to return the ashes is what I am pleased with....Even if he's never caught.</p>

<p>the father was on the cowhead show here in tampa today</p><p>and he said that the cops showed up to his house and they walked around to the back of the house to see where the thief broke in and in the&nbsp;2 minutes it took for him and the cops to walk from the front door around the house and back to the front the ashes were there on the porch</p>

Thats cool they got them back. Losing a kid is bad enough, now they got robbed. Sometimes life is fucked.

yeh he also lost a bunch of guitars and some guitar places in the area are gonna donate new ones to replace the stolen ones
