My favorite new series was DMZ. I picked it up on the clerk's recommendation and just completely devoured it. Can't wait for the second trade.

Moon Knight gets that rep from now and then hes kinda different though
Not as nearly as refined or trained hes kinda rough around the edges
Also alot crazier than Batman since he believes he is the avatar of the God of Vengence
Basically rebuilding his life. Hes not as well known but he just seemed to grow on me

Hes not as well known but he just seemed to grow on me
He was created to be Marvel's answer to Batman. And the character doesn't believe he is the avatar of the God of Vengeance, he is the avatar of Khonshu, aka "The Fist of Khonshu," and was even possessed by Khonshu for a while. Try reading the older issues in addition to the new series.

And Rooster, the guy at my comic store even said don't bother with Wolvie Origins.

You guys like the new JSA or JLA? I've been reading both and kinda like em. I'm not familiar with alot of the characters but I'm getting into it.

The JLA series is good but a little slow, must everything written 6 issues for a trade?, sometimes 4 issues is enough to tell a story.

Ive always liked the JSA but its to early to tell how this series is going, my guess is this series will tie into the climax of 52/one year later

My friends like the JSA series first of the few covers are drawn by Alex Ross
Also there is a preview for the apparent return of Earth 2 Superman
We also have JLA which is a good series ISsue zero was good it showed each incarnation of the JLA throught the years
Liked the part when Batman says how he punched out Guy Guardner

I just recently started collecting "for my son", who just turned 1yr old. I figured I grew up with these superheroes and might as well get him started with some good stuff. My wife just finished the Dark Tower book series so I figured I'd try and get her hooked in comics a bit too with the DT comic series. So far neither of us have read them yet. I have gotten and read almost everything Civil War related and I'm really liking it a lot. The coolest thing about my new obsession is that my wife searches for stuff on ebay for me and comic book surprises are often on the table for me when I get home. She got me a bunch of boxes of 20 randoms that have been a lot of fun going through too. In one of them I got The Maxx 1-3. She saw the big grin on my face and The Maxx 1-17 and 1-27 from ebay were in a box on the kitchen table the following week.
It's like I'm a kid again, but this time I'm going through it as a comic book nerd. My wife keeps teasing me that my son is never going to get these until he pries them "from my cold dead hands". She also says it's cute how I tell people that I'm collecting for him.

The Mighty Avengers is cool ... not sure if I posted this already. They have Ares: The God of War. Potentially the badass levels of Thor with Wolvie's badass attitude. Also, I am a closet Wonder Man fan.

I never liked Wonder Man. Perhaps it was his lame 70's red leisure suit-type outfit.

Ick...I hate the Mighty Avengers, the teams dynamics just don't work for me. I've always hated Wonderman, and the range of characters don't seem to be that great. Having ultra-cocky Iron Man there is bad too. It seems like a team of tool's to me.
