After reading Gaia's thread about her friend and tattoo I was wondering if you like tats on the opposite sex and piercings?

I love women with tattoos, but only in certain places. Some are sexy and some are trashy.

I love a tat on the small of their back, and right by their "birth area" (didnt want to be to nasty) and on their neck but only if it can be covered by their hair when they want it covered.

I think IMO when a girl has a tat on their shoulder blade or her boob, calf etc its trashy. For some reason, to me its just trashy.

Ladies you can answer what you like on guys and where.

As for piercings I love when a women has her belly button pierced and tongue pierced!!!

I like piercings on girls, mostly navel. I've never seen live pierced nipples but I like the look.

Tattoos on women are fine... if they are located properly. Back of neck, Lower back and front of hip areas. I don't like when girls have tattoos on thier breast(s) or on thier shoulders. I like when they get dressed up and look classy. A tat on the shoulder or breast kinda kills the classy

if u like a tat on their birth area, r u saying u like it on their mom's box?

anywho...i'm a sucker for a girl with a tattoo. A woman's body is a work of art, and adding to it only makes it more seductive. (ther are exceptions, but in general, i dig it).

near or by their "birth are" meaning near or by, but not on the box. You know the area I'm talking about? the bikini line area below the hip etc, is that better.

See I think lower back is trashier than shoulder. I have two on my back, one on each shoulder blade area I guess. One is a crappy "tribal" butterfly that looks more like a vagina, and one is a black chinese looking dragon (that I got for free on the Ron and Fez show when they were doing overnights, during the famous Paul-O enema show). No thought put into either of em. I actually forget I have them, last year at my companys shmancy sales dinner I wore a spaghetti strap dress and felt like a tool when I got to the dinner and realized my tats were on display.

I have to say that I do like it when you get a glimpse of a girls tattoo if it is in the right place. There are some tattoos that make even beautiful women look trashy and unattractive. The breast or upper arm tattoo is bad but so is a well placed tattoo if the design or colour is shitty.

As for piercings nothing is better than noticing the girl who you're talking to at the bar has a tongue ring. Some clit rings can be cute and sexy but some girls overdo that with the double labia piercing etc.

I can usually cover them up, this dress exposed most of the dragon one. They're black ink so not as bad as a giant colored in one. I think it looks good in my "going out" outfits, just unprofessional for my sales dinner (although most of my coworkers thought they were cool)

I have 5 tattoos right now, not one I have or ever will have will be visible in formal or casual wear. It's my opinion that having a visible tattoo(s) can and will hurt your chances in the 'real' world. A prospective employer sees your neck or arms tatted up and he's going to draw some pretty unfair conclusions about you.

If it were more acceptable I'd probably have my arms sleeved but I need to support my family and I desire a 'good' job. I'm not saying there aren't people who are able to beat the 'tattoo stereotype' but for the most part a visible tattoo translates into being a lepar in business.

I only have one tattoo since I had the one on my ankle removed. It's on my breast, but it's a small rose which most people don't even see unless I'm at the nude beach. I could care less if someone has tattoos or not, I care more about what's on the inside, and cock size of course.

Thats the point when it comes to business. Its a little easier for us guys to get tattooed and then go to a wedding or a formal event all we have to do is put a suit on and everything but our faces are covered. But for women if they wear a straples dress or any kind of dress/skirt they have skin exposed. IMO when a women is dressed up nothing looks trashier (is that a word) than seeing a tattoo.

As for when a women is naked, I still only like them on their lower back, bikini line and thats it. When its on their titty I think it looks total white trash. That IMO. Some may like it, I dont and once you get older and have kids and gravity kicks in, that titty because an awful mess with stretched out ink. Now thats sexy, eww

I just got my first tattoo a month ago... it's a Stargazer Lily on the lower right side of my back where the waist curves into the hip. I got em and I love em... but on the ladies I like them to be very "girly" and small and on the ankle or in obscure places... and I don't like the "I was in Cancun and got this" tatt... otherwise I like the total extreme the other way... a suicide grrrl who has tatts because that's who she is... that's what I think is sexy as hell.

Piercings are hot on a chick... as long as their face doesn't look like a pin-cusion.

tattoos on a guy are a def plus. i have 8. both wrists, insides of them. back of my neck, then below that tat the length of my spine to the top of my ass crack. below my naval, outter side of my hip/thigh area. my ankle and my foot. i think having them, as a female, it's something i actually do look for on a guy. i intend on getting more and it's always nice to share the experience with someone. just met a guy with tats up his throat all down his arms, entire stomach. shaved head. sexy as hell. i need to call him back...

Love them, Have 4 right now, one I will probably get removed, and then Im going for maybe a big back piece, havent quite drawn up what I would like yet though, I have had many piercings, belly button, labret, septum (still pierced) nipples, tongue. Women with tattoos are smokin hot. I'm not really big on peircings, especially in places that get covered by underwear, its a little gross.

.....i guess i just figured out what topic hits that soft spot on the back of my head. In all honesty, tattoos aren't for everyone, esp. a conservative corp. world. As for an individual, you get a tattoo becasue you like it. but you also take into consideration your job. My first few jobs i was in lab coats and arm tattoos never crossed my mind as impending doom. now at my office job, i know i can never wear take tops or short sleeve, but it is what it is. i have many tattoos and love them all, i work a corp high end job, and i do pin up photos on the side. i think i have best of both worlds, but what really bothers me is inconsiderate people. many people might not like tattoos, but that gives them NO right to walk up to anyone and point it out as a ugly fault. Professionalism is professionalism. and part of that is looking the part, but you can still do it and hide some amazing secrets under those clothes. What you look like and do outside of work is a different story. but you can judge people as trash because of placement of tattoo. If you find them unattractive because of it, then that's your progative. But the sterotypes because of tattoos is really fucking annoying. Get over it.

I don't think they do anything to enhance. And, I don't see the appeal of drilling ink into my skin. But that's coming from someone who hates getting shots or blood work done.

As Skelly pointed out, I shouldn't (and don't) judge people who do have them. When I was in Saudi, one of the big bosses out there was as straight-laced an exec as you can imagine, with tailor-made suits and such. I'm in the old fart school of thought. Though all my friends in high school got
tattoos back in the early 80s, I never cared for them and have none and neither
does my husband. I feel like the cool minority now NOT having a tattoo when
everyone else does.

I never realized how much of an issue having ink was for some people.

I don't have an issue with tattoos, but I could just never wrap my head around the whole idea of it. I feel the same way about people who plaster bumper stickers all over their cars.

Different strokes for different folks, as the old saying goes. I just prefer things in their simplest form.

I like a tiny hoop on a girl's nose, but studs just look like boogers sometimes.
