just for you tenbats.

first concern free agency and the draft.

in free agency ill sell my soul for assante samuel mostly because hes just so underrated, and hes unrestricted so itll only cost us cap room not picks, which is why i am against going after michael turner. improving the right side of both of our lines could be a big help too.

draft round 1 RB, if it was a perfect world id take the kid out of alabama, if not marshawn lynch wouldnt be a bad choice either.

Depends who comes out.

I think Slaton and White are staying in school. That being said, DRAFT BRIAN LEONARD IF HE'S AVAILABLE.

Why not Leon Washington? If Mangini is truely a Belichick disciple I doubt he'll go for a RB. Probably try to sure of either your O or D line. It took a few years but having Warren Willfork and Seymour were a few good pics.

The reason why I'm so high on Brian Leonard is because he can catch the ball, he can block, and he can run. He would be an excellent fullback in The League. I can see a Rice dynamic with him and Brick blocking for Leon.

yeah tenbats ive been looking into it, and your right leonard would be a great fit. and askew contract should be up at the end of the year, and while i love askew for his heart and hands, hes not a prototypical fb in this league. leonards a team captain had no problem stepping aside and letting the new kid step up. i like him alot. but i cant see taking him in the first round, as a third rounder id jump at the shot, but definitely not in the first. fullbacks never go that high, so he should be there later on in the first day.

By then it was clear he wanted out and the Bengals had Rudi Johnson waiting. It wasn't like they had good bargining chips in that trade my point is, the running game was a priority. belichik just took advantage, but he knew the importance of a running game. so he made the deal and won a championship. and the most unsung hero in the patriot championships was always kevin faulk, he racked up almost a hundred yards in their first superbowl, and dominated the first half. we dont have anyone like that, who can carry the pile we get a rb take pressure off of chad, hopefully, bring 8 guys into the box and give coles and cotchery some breathing room for their routes.

I think Jets need to just Draft Defense in the draft, maybe a top WR too. But we def need perhaps another CB, DL and LB. i think we are fine at RB, i like Leon Washington. Maybe a TE. Im not too found of Baker.

pfw just made my day:

We hear that comments by GM Mike Tannenbaum that the Jets believe DL Dewayne Robertson affords them flexibility with his ability to play tackle or end indicates that the team may consider moving Robertson, who’s not as stout as the team would like for its nose tackle in a 3-4 scheme, to end in 2007.

that makes up for kimo and we can big run stuffing dt again. i like it, i think its a fantastic idea.

As a Pats fan I'm just glad that you guys didn't grab Dillon. Jones is a good RB and I think that he'd be a good bridge to Washington or whomever is your future RB. Still can't belive the transition the Pats have gone through in the past 5 days. AMAZING.

Just a quick bump - a sporting goods store in the Philly area is going out of business. I stopped in and scored a replica Pennington jersey and... AND... and... an AUTHENTIC (stiched on letters and numbers) Chrebet Jersey.
Total price for both?
