So who do you like?

I personally think Ohio St is over rated. They only played 2 good teams this year Texas and Michigan. Texas was pretty good and we seen how much of a Joke Michigan really was. The big 12 is so over rated that teams are higher ranked based on shit. I hope Florida wins so the AP votes Boise St to share the championship like they did with USC in 2003.

I think Florida is going to win purely because Fez thinks they will get blown out.

i voted ohio state. i hate both teams. i watched a bunch of games of both teams this year and i think the buckeyes are going to kill them. they are going to throw the ball to anthony gonzoles all game long. chris leak is a pussy (what race does he even belong to?)

You are crazy. Why should Boise St. get a share of the national championsip?!?! They played NO ONE this year, except the number 7 seed and squeeked by with a victory. According to your logic, we should hand the Colts the Superbowl trophy for beating a wildcard team.

Boise St. had a good season and beat a good team in Oklahoma, but didn't beat anyone all year and didn't even deserve to be in the bowl they were in. The WAC is one of the worst conferences in College Football.

If there is any year that college football NEEDS a tournament it's this one.

They also pounded the first team that beat USC, (Oregon st.) And everyone said that USC should have gone to the bcs championship game until they lost to UCLA.

I'm saying they should get a share of the title if Ohios st lost because they would be the only undefeated team. What dont you understand about that. Will they have a loss? No will Florida yes. The only difference is Boise didnt get the chance to play for the title. Ohio st and Boise st are the only undefeated teams, they should have played eachother. If ohio st loses it shows that the bcs is fucked up and not fair.

I voted Boise St. for no particular reason. I think that the BCS system is totally fucked and there should be a playoff system. The smaller schools have one. Last time I checked they have finals and other academic concerns just like the big boys, so the "it would interfere with finals" BS argument does not hold water. In fact the smaller schools have more true "Student Atlhletes" (See Matt Lienhart.. Ballroom Dancing.. 201). A playoff system would be the only true way to give a nobody who plays nobody I.E. Boise St. a real shot at a title run. Pulling for the Gators, Pops played on the 53' Gators squad.
I've hated Florida since I knew what college football was. That said - they are in the SEC so I have no choice but to back them.

Boise st will end the season as the only undefeated team. They couldnt do anymore and werent given the chance to play for it, that means they should be the national champs or share it.

As a Miami U fan I cant believe I'm rooting for Florida.

to answer your question yes they should win a national championship with that schedule. They beat a tough Oregon st team, hawaii had an great offense and good record they beat okl with their rb back. Who did Ohio st beat? Texas yes they were good and it was at texas. Michigan? They beat them by 3 points at home and michigan beat no one. Yes beating 3 loss ND is beating no one.

All im saying is, they went undefeated no other team did, they deserve atleast a share of the title.

I get what you're saying about the Bears (go Bears), but they will beat the Seahawks this week, and I don't think that the Saints are guaranteed to beat the Eagles, frankly. The Eagles have some powerful Mojo right now, and the Saints balloon is due to pop soon. If not this week, I don't see them beating the Bears outside in the cold for the chance to go to the Super Bowl. I think it's a trendy thing to pick against the Bears right now, but if you think it through, they have a good 80-85% chance of going.

AFC? I think it's Marty's year. LT is the second coming of Walter Payton, and that defense can handle Baltimore's offense. I got Chargers v Bears

it'll most likely be bears vs chargers but everyone is pretty much going in that direction but neither of those teams have proven anything to me to warrant my picking them to go all the way

All im saying is, they went undefeated no other team did, they deserve atleast a share of the title.

i dont disagree on ohio state, they were overated and its hard to justify moving them out of the top spot when they didnt lose a game but thats more due to the stupid preseason rankings than them being great

problem is boise doesnt play in a big conference with the so called sexy teams so unless they move to a new conference or a playoff system is adopted schools like boise will always be on the outside looking in

you have seen my point!!! I hate the bcs and the big confrences. It eliminates having that david vs goalith story because the little guy wont even get the shot. I think preseason rankings and , school history (rutgers) hurts teams. With everything rutgers did this year they should have been in bcs game especially since louisville went after losing to rutgers. Rutegers went from 6th to 15th after 1 lose to cincy, wv and louisville dropped a few spots after they lost. The reason, previous team history.

I think the AP will vote for Boise not for any reason other then to say fuck you to the bcs. I know I would and to the asshole from south orange nj who runs the bcs/ncaa he is sucha a stuborn, out for himself and the big10/12 ass. there was a great article today about him on yahoo. I will try to find it, if I cant look for it on yahoo. It was long but a great read for college football fans
The AP will not vote for Boise...I know the coaches have to vote Florida as the 1 team by contract, and besides, the WAC is a non-BCS conference...the only way they got to play was by the addition of a fifth BCS game They will not jump them over a 2 loss USC that just pummeled Michigan, a 1 loss Florida team that is in the process of whippin' Ohio State, a one loss Wisconsin team that only lost to Michigan and just beat a good Arkansas team, or even a 1 loss Ohio State team that just (presumably) lost the title game Final Rankings go (if this game holds up) 1.Florida2.Southern Cal3.Ohio State4.Wisconsin (only behind Ohio State cause they didn't play the Buckeyes, and lost to Michigan)
5.Boise State And its been debated and argued to no end...there will never be a playoff. Let's stop trying to turn the wonderful sport of College Football into the NFL Junior

I will say this. Being a Texas fan, I have nothing involved in this game. They really need to make sure that teams don't have a 50+ day layoff. OSU is so goddamn rusty, and is getteing killed.

I played a reverse bet on Florida and the over. It is going to have a lovely payout.

But if I parlayed the moneyline and the over? Wow.

I made a mistake by getting greedy and parlaying Florida and the over in the halftime line though.

These players can play 1 or 2 more games

And how could boise be ranked 5th when they will be the only undefeated team? usc 2 losses will not be ranked higher then them. Either will ohio st after getting blown out.

everyone talked and talked and gave florida no chance, yet Ohio st was a joke and this was one of the worst championship bowl games ever.

The big 12 should play more sec/acc/pac10 teams every year if they did no big 10 would or could be talked about like this again. Even though ND is an indy I always consider them a big 12 team b/c they play like one and always play all big 12 teams, and they loss 3 games and havent won a bowl game in 12 years (9straight bowl games) Mich lost 4 straight bowl games. This confrence getsway too much credit b/c they are one of the good ol boys leagues. Tradition sometimes sucks and when it comes to this traditio make me sick.
