Triple H suffered an injury during his match against Rated-RKO at New Year's Revolution. The preliminary diagnosis is a possible quadriceps tear. Triple H will be flown to Birmingham, Ala. in the morning to be evaluated by Dr. James Andrews. WWE.com will have more on Triple H's injury Monday afternoon. Looks like DX is done. Unless they were smart and did what they did when HBK left.

That fucks up their WrestleMania plans. The slated Main Event was Cena vs. HHH. The scary thing is, this might mean we get saddled with something like Cena vs. Orton now.

Cena vs Rated RKO would be terrible. I think the plan was to have HHH turn on HBK and eventually go for the title at WM.I don't think HBK is an option, becuase he wants to work a relaxed schedule. What do they do? Move Undertaker to Raw? Push Edge or Orton (that would be awful)?

Trips wasn't going to turn heel...they were going to do face vs. face like WM17 with Austin/Rock. And Undertaker is supposedly going to face Batista for the Smackdown belt.Now that he's out, here's the options they have:1) Edge - The storyline is already in place but we've seen Cena/Edge so many times, it wouldn't draw. 2) Randy Orton - The two have only faced each other once as far as a remember (Eddie Guerrero Tribute Show). The match would be terrible but WWE sees both as draws.3) Shawn Michaels - HBK refuses to turn heel anymore in his career, so it'd be the face vs. face matchup similar to the HHH one. 4) Umaga - They've just started this feud. My guess is they were going to finish at the Royal Rumble, but they may be able to drag it out to a blow off match at Wrestlemania.5) Fatal Fourway (Cena vs. Edge vs. Orton vs. Michaels) - Makes the most sense to me at this point.

Hmmmm now wtf they gonna do? I mean, im sure the Rated RKO-DX angle wasnt over yet. They got like....till tomorrow to re-write the story. I'd hate to be a WWE writer about now. and i get the feeling HHH careers is over. He had a quad tear before, hence the wraps around them.

It's his opposite quad, but he tore it and will need surgery which will put him out at least nine months and that's if he even decides to come back at this point.

Triple H is gonna be out for another six months according to WWE.com.  I wonder if they were supposed to win the tag titles last night?  It did seem kind of strange how all of a sudden Michaels just started taking out everyone out of the blue.  Other than that, WWE's plans for that angle, as well as any main event they had planned for the PPV's leading up to WrestleMania are shot.

What about this...HHH's injury is kayfabe.  All of the pics of him on the table with doctors looking at him seem like a put on.  This way, both him and HBK can take some time off and make a dramatic comeback at WM.  As for Cena, I don't see any apparent heirs to the title at the moment.  Maybe a Cena VS Batista match for WM.

I'm pretty sure the injury is legit.  WWE likes to mix on their website news about storylines and real stuff too so that nobody knows the difference.
