Watching the movie The Girl Next Door I was reminded in one of the scenes where the kids cover up their licence plates and drive off the campus of their high school so that security wouldn't be able to tell who was cutting out. I remember doing that back when I was in high school and me and my friends would go to Jones Beach or somewhere else to avoid school. It was a quick little thing in the movie, but that brought me right back to those good times!

My friend and I pulled into the parking lot of the school one day, looked at each other, and pulled right back out. We went to his brother's girlfriend's apartment at Ohio State Univ. and spend the day getting stoned.

about every other month, me and my best bud skipped school, get a sixer of Stroh's tall boys each, with my fake fuckin i.d. -to this day i have no idea why they took those lame i.d.'s- sneak the brews into a movie we wanted to see - get fucked up.

Because i was forced to go to a Catholic high school, me and the 2 other stoners would find the open cars of the rich bitches and hot box it during gym class.

Use to cut school and take the LIRR to NYC.  It was a lot of fun until the truant officers grab you.  Three days suspension.  They showed me.

I was such a goody-goody I only cut school once and it was a disaster -- me
and 3 friends drove to Georgetown (in DC) where our car got towed! And in
DC this really sucks because you have to pay to get your car out in one
location and go across town to pick it up! My one friend had to call her
boyfriend to drive all the way from Fredneck (about 60 miles) to rescue us.
How embarassing.

I had gone to Huntington High which was pretty much connected to the "Big H" shopping center so some times one of our friends would park his car at the Pathmark or another store and we'd just walk off campus to his car and either go to someones house or somewhere else to hang out. Once we had gotten past all the regents exams and whatnot in our senior years and were homefree schoolwise we were always cutting out.

Yikes.Me and my friend used to just leave in the middle of physics to go drink on base or in downtown Stuttgart. If it was a sub, we'd tell her what we were doing and sign out in the office citing reasons such as: "because I said" and "it's a secret." I also skipped Spanish class for at least two weeks straight because I didn't want to give a presentation. Fun times.Best was when I was enrolled in CWE but didn't have a job yet. It was like school-endorsed cutting. I think I was supposed to be in study hall until I found a job, but fuck that.

I used to show up then have a friend pick me up and leave.Then they had a truant officer on staff stationed outside of the school.So I would go in, go to the back of the library and sleep all day.Then I had the dean "escorting" me to every class. I hated high school.

I cut school sometimes with the 'I'm feeling sick' excuse. Other times I just didn't show up. One shitty memory I have though is this hot girl in my gym class who asked me if I wanted to hang out with her at the end of class, and like a DOUCHE, I said "oh, no, I have american history now, BYE!". UGGGGGGHHHHHHH. Still gives me the D chills.

we used to walk off the line going to assemblies and pep rallies... just walk right out the door.  we had security guards at my school, who eventually got wise to that, so you'd have to leave after attendence was taken but before you were lead down to the gym.in college, a friend of mine couldn't find a parking spot on the first day, said fuck it, and drove home.  priceless.

Man, I can remember cutting school... Even though I graduated 10 years ago this June I still think it was a great decision.I graduated with one more credit than neccessary and I have a shitty job that I hate and can barely provide for my family....Yep, best decision I ever made.

rop rockedI had a class after lunch and got to leave school for it.  And the rop class only met like once a week. There was no point in cutting the first half of the day because we never went to that class.We uesto bring girls and hella weed back and get stoned all after noon.  We watched movies and ate hella food.Dam i was so cool.   Hey earl we got any cool in the back there?

my high school had an open campus which meant we could leave during the three or four free periods you had during the week.  we could also leave during lunch.  which meant no one cared if you were coming or going anywhere at any time during the day.  all you had to do was forge a shitty note about some dentist's appointment.  such a bureaucratic system that the administration wouldn't even read them.  needless to say high school was amazing and fun.  much weed and a mastery of your parents' signatures.

I guess it wasn't really cutting school, but i just used the visiting a college for the day for personal days.  I think i hit every college in the tri-state area of wisc iowa and illinois.
