<p>So it got mixed reviews at Sundance, and it's previews are definitely pushing the Justin Timberlake angle.... BUT I am seriously interested to see this flick. I read a great article which is the basis for the film. It was called
"The Last Ride of Jesse James Hollywood". It's in one of those
Best Crime writing books of 2000 something, can't remember
which year maybe 2004.

If they stick to the actualy events then will definetly check it out.

The thing is the kidnap a younger brother and he is treated just
like one of the guys till it takes a really ugly turn. When the
ranson is not paid.

But when someone has talked, dressed and acted the same way their whole live then its not acting its being themsleves.</p>

Im going to have to look into this. </p><p>oh yeah i agree with you that if u grow up around these people then thats who you are. i know white kids who have grown up in my minority neighborhood and thats who they are. they even get to call black kids 'niggas' with no repercussions because theyve been here all theyre life. </p><p>these kids in&nbsp;this movie&nbsp;are based on is not that situation. the main characters are rich kids from suburbia who dabble in drugs and eventually sell drugs, and someone owes them money, they respond by kidnapping the guys little brother. after realizing that jail time is mandatory for kidnapping, they take the kid out to the mountians in cali and kill him. the guy behind all this eventually went to brazil to hideout. while there his parents sent more than a $1000 every week. rich kids pretending to be gangstas. </p><p>yeah i looked it up on wikipedia after earl mentioned justin timberlake in a movie. </p>

I hate when rich kids act hard or like they are from the &quot;hood&quot; or they are down. Its almost like my post about kids acting like they are in the italian mafia. I hate shit like that.
