I saw that exhibit in like 1979. It was pretty cool from what I remember. Everything was so shiny & pretty & golden. I would go see it again. Is it still cursed? It never hurt me none.

In another 25 years, we probably wont be here. I'm looking forward to getting vaporized actually. Bring it on TUT!

Going this weekend! Psyched.

One bummer - no picture taking allowed. I'll try and sneak some anyway.

He's famous only because finding a complete tomb with treasures was very Tut-uncommon.

The face of Egypt's most famous ancient ruler, King Tutankhamun, has been put on public display for the first time. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/7077423.stm)

Photo gallery of the opening of King Tut's tomb is almost as good as being there in person —better even, since you don't have to fear any Egyptian curse. (http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/1923/05/tut-discovery/williams-photography)

The study also showed that Tutankhamun died when he was only 19—perhaps soon after he suffered a fracture to his left leg.

I saw some National Geographic special on this when I was in Doha earlier this year. Apparently, he suffered a wound in battle -- or he was injured in something as simple as a chariot/horse riding accident.
