Does your pet drink?

When I was a kid, we used to give my dog a beer on the 4th of July, because the fireworks used to scare the crap out of him. ONE beer, and he turned into a sack of potatos. It was so funny the next day, he'd be hungover!&nbsp;

if i am drinking a dark beer like Smithwicks or Guiness, Vegas will stick her nose in the glass and take a sip or two.&nbsp; later on your can see by the look on her face that she is alittle tipsy.&nbsp; she then goes to sleep on the floor and needs to carried to bed.&nbsp;

A tablespoon of whiskey can kill a<br />cat, while just two teaspoons can put the poor thing into a coma. <br />Beer, while a bit lower in alcohol content, is just as toxic, even<br />though it would require a slightly larger quantity.<br /><br />The staff at the Temperance Animal Hospital in Temperance MI (my vets)<br />add that ingestion of alcohol causes liver trauma in cats - they are<br />unable to metabolize alcohol.</pre><pre> </pre><p>i let mine lick the bottle top cause he fuckin loves it but for those who let theirs lap it up,..</p><p>probably not good i'm guessin.</p> <span class="post_edited"></span>
