they had a great year and schiano did a hell of a job, but come on they won the texas bowl! They went from a bcs game or atleast a good bowl game to a shitty new bowl against a shitty team and got no exsposure. The purpose of some of these teams to go to a bowl game is to get exposure. The game wasnt even on regualr tv or even espn. The only way you could see this game was to have a digital package and the nfl network and who the hell outside of NJ knew this game was on the nfl network and why was it on a pro football network? Fo no reason at all.

Dont get me wrong Im happy for them and hope for good things in the future. But with all that they did this year to only get a texas bowl bid was a shame. It just shows you how low on the college totum poll they are. They were such a better team the k state lst night. it was such a 1 sided game. K state sucked so bad that Teal even looked like a good QB (hes not). The big thing for Rutgers will be to seehow they do next year. I hope they have atleast another 10-2 season. If they go 7-5 or 8-4 then that will hurt a little.
