So.... here we are again a few days before NYE and I am still wondering what to do.

It seems every year such emphasis is put on this holiday. Where to go, who to spend time with, what to wear, who to kiss at that crucial moment. This year it seems all of my friends and family are going with low key plans... but it is still a tough decision. Though I am pretty sure at the end of the night it will be my kitty, Mr Handsome, that I kiss.... haha. Ahhhh single life!

Any thoughts on the subject? What will YOU be doing this rainy New Years Eve?? DO tell...

regina and i looked at a lot of different options for NYE. after seeing how much everything cost, i think it the same place we went to last year is $25.00 more per person this year, we decided it would be best to stay home. we will order some good food and have some nice champagne and be with the dog. at midnight we will kiss, drink and i will smoke a cigar on the terrace. kind of boring but i couldnt see spending over $300 for one night out.

New York City again this year, going to some place called LQ. From what I am reading it's some Latin club most of the time. I hope I don't get shot.

We picked it because it had a good food selection on the promo material.

I don't have the money or patience to leave Arlington. A group of us will be drinking at a friend's (we picked up the keg yesterday), then stumbling to Whitlow's where hopefully we will be able to find a place to sit.

What's the deal with these prices these past few years for parties. it's getting a little ridiculous. The best parties are always the ones thrown by yourself or someone you know.

I'll be having fun over a girlfriends house who live real nearby.

Another reason why NYE sucks, too many people on the road WHO SHOUDLN'T BE!!

"New Years Eve was as boring as heaven. I watched flies fuck on channel eleven. There was no one to kiss. There was nothing to drink. Except some old rotten milk someone left in the sink."

Doing absolutely nothing, and loving it. I bartended too many NYEs to give a fuck one way or the other about it. It's the most overrated night of the year, and nothing but trouble.

I read this yesterday: When you're a kid, you GET to stay up until midnight. When you're middle aged, you HAVE to.
