<p>The first that comes to mind for me is "One" by U2. It reminds me of this girl who I blew it with and regret it to this day. Another is "Say Goodbye" by Dave Matthews Band that describes a night me and a friend enjoyed. Hearing these songs shocks me right back to an instant in my life that I will never forget.</p><p>What songs do it for you?</p>

<p>hot rod circuit - at nature's mercy</p><p>it came on the first time hooked up with a my girlfriend that lasted two years. everytime i hear the song i think about her. </p>

<p>great thread. this just happened to me today.</p><p>When I hear Alicia Keys and usher song "if I aint got you" that was my most recent ex's song. We were together for 2 years and one day I called her singing it to her and she laughed but liked it so much she made that "our song"</p><p>Another song is so old Boys 2 men "I'll make love to you" my ex from back about 12 years ago. That was our song as well.</p>

I still like these songs, but they're filled with angst and bitter thoughts now.
