All time favorite character that worked for the show?

What about Dumpy?

My favorite has always been Billy Staples, since I first started listening to the show, nights in New York, no one has added more to the show or been funnier hands down.

It's a tough call.

I voted for Earl.

But I have to give an honorable mention credit to Wonderboy as he's still the author of one of my favorite show moments when he called the show from the parking lot on his last night, smashed in J-Dubs window with a bat, and fled town never to be heard from again.

There's no one on that list a really dislike, though.

I don't think Giant Brian gets enough credit. Although he wasn't with the show too long, he still was a really sarcastic and funny guy. I don't get to hear him now, and i doubt I would listen to DeBella anyway, but I really hope is doing well with the soccer mom radio. I love his creepy Mr. Rodgers on "Bad Guest" segments.

WHAT? No love at all for Harry?!

With those choices, I easily went with Dave. He's been very strong, and willing to step up and has the fearlessness that the position needs with the show. He really is the male Crazy Jen.

Billy's DIVA routine, especially when he came to DC and looked down on Giant Brian for running the board (never mind that Fez ran the boards at NEW) kind of soured the good things I remembered. He's still a good guy, and his stuff was still golden, but I can take the bravado only if there is somethign there to back it up with.

If Giant Brian had been with the show longer, he would be right up there, imo. He was very funny and sarcastic, but also (like Dave) brought a different voice to the show. He stood out because he hadn't been a fan before, and on the air never came across as a suck up living and dying by their approval - I think Fez only made him tear up only once, which is shocking in that position!

If Dubbs qualified as their employee, he'd be the winner, however. Also, some of my favorite free employees of the show (Sid, Chunks, Bitz) came from DC.

For me was a toss up between Billy Staples, and Al Dukes.

Billy: Lobster Claws, Wiping his ass with Al's check, and generally being an "Orange Ball of Failure".

Al: Kissing men, drunk off two beers, 3 pumps, pissing himself, shitting himself.

I voted for the Orange Ball of Failure.

Its hard to pick. Black Earl and ESD do a LOT for the show. Bronx Johnny is a very down to earth, real sweet and kick ass guy. Wonderboy and I almost got locked in a park once. Billy Staples is really good radio, and also a really nice guy. Al Dukes is skeevy. Hawk, I really don't know ((sorry)). And my Write-In would be obvious and quite biased.

So, I vote for Bronx Johnny, because he was really nice and respectful to me, and I can't think of one person that dislikes him. Plus he does a lot for the show, and has a lot of dedication to the show.

Dukes and Poo, Poo and Dukes. Poo was Piper to Al's Hogan. Al has the legacy, but it was Poo who drew the best out of him, and I'd say 75 percent of the Al soundboard was in reply to something Poo said. Joe was the best, I'd love to see him come back for a guest spot. Ron and Fez are very much aware of the need for constant evolution, but that late 2001-early 2002 period is worth any current fan seeking how.

-Ron was new to New York and you could feel the joy in his voice

-Fez hadn't peaked

-Joe Poo as a great third mic

-Al Dukes, the best heel they've ever had

-Billy Staples, a marvelous car wreck in every way

-Hawk producing/before he was E-Rock

-Rory Hamptons, the perfect tweener

-RF Babies, and sweet Melissa Moans

An amazing time in show history, but it couldn't last forever. But Poo was the glue of this era.

Al Dukes he was the top man to hate. Who else could headline 3 BIG ASS Fights and always remain interesting as the top heel? Most of what Billy did was great, but if he didn't have Al to do it to it wouldn't have worked. Even recently last Monday's show with Al one of the best.

East Side Dave has become my favorite. Al Dukes is a close second though. He provided a lot of unintentional hilarity on WNEW
