so in reality they're going to be doing more radio than o & a (yeah 6-12, never) so o & a can't complain anymore. wonder if they'll mention it on leno, probably not

I'm wondering what the schedule will be like going forward. Doing 6 hours of radio in two split shifts on a permanent basis seems like a lot to dump on R&F. Seems like they should put them on afternoon drive on XM, and then just let that flow into XM. Something like 4-6 XM only, and then 6-9 XM/FM.

That's all bs guesswork on my part, but it doesn't seem like a cool move to Ron & Fez to split their shows up like that.

To be given an opportunity like this, you would have to try and find a way to make it work. They know what they are getting into - they've gone there before with their schedule - yeah, it now makes their job a full day commitment, and yeah that's going to be an adjustment, but how many other radio shows are being given this chance? And actually this is very different from the Infinty days where they had one boss pretty much telling them they had or should do it; this is a true golden opportunity and should be supported and applauded.

I am beyond thrilled for them - the double-whammy will highlight their status more - will get them more attention and listeners - will make them more valuable. I really hope an Entertinament Weekly picks the story up.

It can certainly be done, since there is no live programming on XM in that timeslot. The only obstacle is moving O&A replays out of afternoon drive, which could be difficult.

A friend of mine put my radio in my car a few weeks ago. There was one wire for the power antenna we didn't connect because I don't have a power antenna. Problem is, my Subaru uses this special antenna that looks like a defroster on one of my back windows and it requires power for the FM booster. I didn't worry about it because I never listen to FM. It's all XM and iPod for me.

As soon as the rumors started, I knew it was time to act.

I filled my friend in about Ron and Fez's FM deal, and he and I stayed late last night to connect that last wire. Now I have Fm again to listen to our Buddays, and I might have a possible new fan checking out the show. I guess he wants to see what I'm so crazy for on the radio.

Here's a hypothetical question...If there was a website out there that recorded the O&A and R&F shows which you can download the torrent file (for free). Will they now be including the R&F FM show? I live in Los Angeles and I'm driving home when the FM show starts.
