<p>I just read this article and it says 95% of americans, male and female have had sex before marriage. It also says that this isnt a new thing. They said they asked women from all decades if they had sex before marriage and the %%% are about the same.</p><p>Coming from an Italian family I always thought my mom was pure on her wedding night with my dad. The way my mother scoffs at others who wear white on their wedding day, I have no doubt she earned her white dress.&nbsp; Plus, I have to think that if she had partaken in the pleasures of the flesh more than three times in her life (I have two siblings), she might have a more pleasant demeanor.&nbsp; There is definitely a segment of our parents' generation for whom sex was not &amp; is not barely a thought.&nbsp; It's like they just missed being hippies, so they totally lost out on the joy of sex.

I have no idea what my mom did before I was born.&nbsp; Considering how hush hush she is about when she grew up, I think its where I inherited my teenage partying from.&nbsp; But I do believe that she's never drank beer ((wine, champagne, and Mike's Hard Lemonade is another story...
