<p>Anybody else get any bargains at Tower Records? They're down to 70% off on most stuff. I got my sister-in-law a DVD Box Set of all the old ABC Afterschool Specials for $20!

i was there last month. they'd been picked clean
<p>towers could have saved themselves if they didnt charge 20 bucks for cds which is a slowly dying medium for music distribution anyway</p>

The reason why Target, Best Buy, Costco and Wal-Mart can charge less is because they don't depend on CD sales to make their money.</p>
