<p><img src="http://www.danceage.com/covers/artist_mcover/1063.jpg" border="0" width="300" height="180" /></p><p><a href="http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000IU3XTM.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg" target="_blank" title="Click to enlarge"><img src="http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000IU3XTM.01.MZZZZZZZ.jpg" border="0" width="160" height="142" /></a></p><p>Just saw him and a very talented opening act at the Beacon last Tuesday.&nbsp; What an overall impressive show.&nbsp; The man can sing and the band he used was dead on.&nbsp; The nice stuff from 9, the new cd, was impressive and I'd see them again in a minute.&nbsp; The best is hearing him and lisa hannigan sing together.&nbsp; It was amzing to say the least.&nbsp; The venue is always great too as I've now seen the Conan 10th Anniversary Special and Sigur Ros there as well.</p><p>The opening band was The Swell Season.&nbsp; The singer, Glen Hansard from The Frames, put the story behind the song so well you really knew where the songs came from, spiritually and physically.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>

damien rice was at bonnaroo like 2 years ago i think and i stopped by for like 20 mins to check it out. not bad, it was some cool tunes but i didnt fall in love with it.

<p>saw him a few years ago at a festival..the place was heavin. </p><p>Sorta gone off him since i went out with a chick who obcessed on him..couldnt really be arsed now.</p><p>Lisa however is one of the sexiest beasts to grace the stage..totally totally bangable.&nbsp;</p><p>plus, hes sorta the standard now for irish musicians. alot of people just rip him off and the scene has stagnated abit.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I love damien rice ever since i eard the song connonball. I really liked 9 he seemed a little angrier than in the last album.</p><p>I think Lisa and him play well off of each other especially in the opening track 9 crimes</p>

<p>Yah, that song is sweet.&nbsp; But my fav is the ultra harsh rootless trees.&nbsp; Great chorus that I'll use for my wedding song!</p>
