I saw the new Coen Brothers movie tonight. It was pretty good, 3.5 out of 4. It was a tad too long but definitely enjoyable as a drama/film noir. And Tony Shaloub, who was in last week's horrid 13 Ghosts, does show that he can be damned good work with good material.

It's about a barber who blackmails his wife's boss and gets involved in a murder.

EDIT: In addition, the theater i saw it ran the trailer for Vanilla Sky which is expected to be a huge movie. And the only reason I'm bringing this up is because Jason Lee is playing Tom Cruise's best friend and Jason Lee is the only actor that when I see him in a trailer gets me excited.

the more i think about it the more I wnat to give it higher than 3.5 but not exactly a 4/4 so i'm upping it to 3.75 which is unheard of.
