I thought the oldest living person was in China and is the same age or older. However, I also seem to remember there were some issues regarding proof of birth (birth certificate, birth records, etc.).

Maybe Mrs. Bolden was the oldest documented person in the world.

Either way, good for her. I hope Elizabeth Bolden had a wonderful life.

Wouldn't that make her the former oldest person in the world?

Congratulations to the new record holder, Mrs. Whatley!

I mean Fez.

Just for reference, the year she was born Idaho was admitted as the 43rd US state. This ended the "Potato War" of 1887-90 in which settlers would try to kill Indians by throwing potatoes at them. The Indians retaliated with arrows, causing much bloodshed.
