She-Crab Soup.... Just don't use that fake Krab with a "K". Or you could make Crabbie Patties for the whole gang at Bikini Bottoms.

Time for you to have a chat with the R/f.net cooking guru, Toocute. Check out her thanksgiving dinner thread. I can't bc it drives me nuts since my girl is at work and I only have cold cuts in the house.

As for my fam, we eat a huge dinner as well (prepared by my sisters, mom and grandmother/dad does some freeze your ass off grillin outside as well), but we also have an annual pitch tournament as well. Your talking to the overall champ right now. We actually have a plaque listing the winner every year. We're a competitive goof-ball family no doubt. But it wouldn't be a holiday dinner without my uncle getting plastered and playing god awful in the game and blaming his teammate. Getting him as a partner is an instant death sentence in the game.

Sounds like a normal meal for my family on Christmas eve. We usually have a clams in a red sauce but to each his own. Good luck making all that. If you make too much drop some off to me!

We've started this new tradition of getting sushi for christmas eve dinner. Its laid back and everyone enjoys it. Maybe you should pick up a few rolls if you don't feel like making your own.

I'm not big on seafood at all, but my family used to do "Breaded Oyster cassarole" on Christmas Eve. I'll have to check with my Mom about the recipe, but it was essentially oysters mixed with melted butter and crushed Ritz crackers. Mix them all together and bake for a while. Aaaahhhhh, the delicassies of youth!

BTW, I actually found a small PEARL one year. I still have it!

Alright, I feel bad about the monkey thing. What we do for New Years, you could do for Xmas eve: make a nice salad, and then steam a "seafood melange". Lobster tails, crab, shrimp. I figured out a couple of years ago that the secret sauce at my favorite Japanese chop chop (Ron of Japan, if you're ever in Chicago) is just hollendaise with soy sauce. Add some raw bar, let the champagne flow, and trust me, it's a feast for all.

I'd go with bacon-wrapped scallops or lobster bisque as your 7th fish dish.
