I didn't forget, my 74 year-old hostess, born and raised in Japan, kept calling me dumbass in Japanese all day today. She's keeping the dream alive for her people.

The NY Times online has a great story and pictures about the rebuilding of Pearl Harbor and it's damaged fleet that was never published due to wartime censorship. A big story that has never been told.

I don't observe December 7th. I'm all about April 18th: the day of Doolittle's raid on Japan. Paybacks are a bitch. Right Jappy?

This may have been true years ago, but the demographics of our country has so changed that this is no longer a white black thing. People should be consistant in your pc quest or not at all. Instead we are left in this weird middle ground where people think their conscience actually follows a reasonable philosphy.

Guilty whites, it's not about race. It's about your country.

I didn't forget it was Pearl Harbor day.

Did you forget that it was Tom Waits' birthday?

How about Johnny Bench?

Did you forget it's Pearl Harbor day?

No, I celebrated like I always do by going down to the local Jap restaurant, throwing a brick through the window and yelling 'That's for Uncle Sam!'

On another note, though, I'd like to take a moment to wish all my brethren a happy Delaware Day...a day of pride when we looked at Pennsylvania and said, "we can do better than be a part of that cesspool." And in 1787, that dream became a reality.

I'm surprised at how this day gets overlooked. Sure our generation is far removed but we all learned about this is school!

I for one, think they should commemorate this tragedy by making a movie. Make a movie so spectacular that everyone will see it, everyone will own it. It can't be any movie; It has to have star power, say............... Ben Affleck as the lead. Yeah, that's it! That'll work!

It's a sure blockbuster!

Who's with me!?

Anyone? Hello?
